The main pieces used to assemble Black Gondolas are made of steel and wood with the exception of the upright covers and upright caps are made of plastic. The basic upright, base shoes, upper and lower shelves, top, lower, and center spanners, front and side trim pieces are made of steel, the pegboard and solid backs are made of wood. The pegboard and solid backs provide all of the stability of the shelving system. The components used are all interchangeable between a single sided and double sided Gondola Shelves.
